Rooted Action Park is an indoor recreation facility and ramp park in the Joplin, MO area. Offering a skatepark, bike park, pump track, BMX ramps, MT Bike park, climbing wall, climbing gym and other activities. Rooted Action Park is a family friendly recreation facility offering activities for families, activities for teens and activities for kids in the Joplin Area.
Roots of the Tour
Chaos on Wheels began as a mobile ramp park that Jeremiah Anderson and a few of his friends would set up in various locations around Southern Minnesota. As demand for actual shows grew Chaos on Wheels evolved into a touring stunt team, we still had portable ramps, but the general public was no longer allowed to ride the ramps. Throughout the years the idea has been thrown around to put together a mobile ramp park that would be open to for riders to session. Well, now is the time! As we started working on developing Rooted Action Park it became evident that a great place to start generating some excitement for a permanent facility was to take the action to parking lots around Southwest Missouri. The concept is to create family friendly spaces that are centered on a variety of activities.
The 2023 Asphalt Assault Mobile Action Park Tour will be making stops in parking lots around Southwest Missouri beginning on September 1, 2023 and wrapping up sometime in November of 2023. The setup will be primarily made up of ramps and other obstacles designed for BMX and MTB bike riders. Scooters and Skateboards will be welcome at most of the stops. There will also be concessions, a Gaga Ball pit and other family friendly activities at most of the stops. Some of the key pieces in the action park will be a beginner level bike obstacle course, a 5' tall launch ramp into a flat air bag, a 4' tall jump box and a 6' tall launch ramp with a 7' tall air bag landing. There will also be a variety of rollers, banks, small launch ramps and other obstacles around to make things interesting. As the tour progresses we will likely be adding more ramps and other obstacles.
All participants will be required to sign a waiver before taking part in any of the activities (under 18 requires a parent or legal guardian signature). There will also be an entry fee charged for participants (prices will vary for each stop).
