"Tired, Dirty, and Proud: What Ramp Camp Is Really Teaching Kids"

I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU!

Whether you’ve given a donation, shared a post, or simply cheered us on—you’re helping make Rooted Action Park so much more than just a place to ride. This summer has been full of big moments, and your generosity is what’s making them happen.

Because of You…

We’ve had kids show up to Ramp Camp who’ve never been on a scooter, skateboard, or BMX bike before—and now they’re rolling with confidence. We've been able to tell every parent: “No equipment? No problem.” Thanks to generous donations, we’ve got scooters and bikes available for any kid who wants to give it a shot.

But what’s happening here goes way beyond the ramps.

At Ramp Camp, we’re seeing real growth in character and community:

  • Kids learning to face fear and try again after a fall

  • Friendships forming across all ages and skill levels

  • Teens stepping up as leaders and encouraging others

  • Meaningful conversations about faith, purpose, and identity every single week

We’ve had the privilege of sitting with campers and talking about overcoming fear, living with integrity, and what real community looks like. These moments are often quiet and simple—but they’re powerful. And we believe they matter just as much as landing a new trick.

And families are feeling the impact, too. One mom summed it up perfectly:

“My older boys both participated in Ramp Camp last week and it was wonderful for them! They really did grow in resilience and confidence during that week. They gained new skills, for sure! They also got very tired and dirty every day and felt quite accomplished going to bed each night. The environment was so positive, fun and welcoming. They couldn’t wait to go back!”

We couldn’t ask for a better picture of what Rooted is all about.

The Vision Is Growing—And You’re Invited

We’re not just building ramps—we’re building a community where kids and families grow stronger together.

To keep that going, we’ve launched the “100 for $100” campaign, and we’d love for you to be part of it.

We’re looking for 100 people to give $100/month to help us continue:

  • Offering Ramp Camp and regular sessions to kids who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend

  • Maintaining and improving our facility

  • Investing in the spiritual, emotional, and physical development of young people

  • Covering key operational costs—like our liability insurance, which just doubled this month

These are the behind-the-scenes essentials that keep Rooted running safely and sustainably.

If you’re already giving—thank you. You’re part of every breakthrough, every smile, every story.

If you’ve been thinking about it—now is the time to jump in and help us meet some critical needs.

Thank you for believing in this mission and the kids we serve. You're helping build something real, lasting, and full of purpose.
